All EYES ON VABEXPO
VabEXPO, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, persists mainly to advance African Americans expansive and diverse history and culture. With two signature events: The African American Book Festival, and Minority Business Expo, we aim to bring together readers and writers, while also highlighting minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses.
With its 4th annual event coming up, the Richmond AFRAM Book festival has quickly become the largest literary event in the southeast. A huge crowd assembled at Diversity Richmond in an exhilarating celebration of books. We believe that the writing history of Richmond is proof that Richmond is the literary cultural center of Virginia.
Join us as we celebrate writing as an art form, and creating opportunity for Authors, Publishers, and Bookstores to network, recruit readers, while bringing together a diverse array of people, creating lasting impressions that leads to positive changes in our community. Come see hundreds of authors, locally and regionally, connecting directly with fans and new readers.
Each year, join us for a fabulous day of shopping, connecting, and growing together at the Minority Business Expo, a networking and educational event focused on minority owned businesses and entrepreneurs. Come out and enjoy this free community event that celebrates black entrepreneurship, past and present, by exposing the community to business opportunities and cultural resources.
